A Musician’s Mission

Ed Roman, musician, continues his mission of giving back

Award-winning Canadian musician Ed Roman is using his musical gift to give back. Being known for making socially-conscious messages within his lyrics, Roman has put his words into action by providing humanitarian aid and sharing his talents in Jamaica (2015), along with donating a track to Heart Songs for Veterans to benefit military and service members in North America. This is in addition to his countless donations of music and funds raids for children’s’ cancer charities and more.

On August 19, 2016 Ed Roman continued his good works by taking the stage at Terra Nova Public House in Terra Nova, Ontario Canada. This performance was in place to raise funds for The Bahati Project, a Tanzanian organization on a mission to provide service for the Tengeru Village School, Pippi House Foundation for Girls, and the Newlands Orphanage.

Throughout this performance, fans enjoyed tunes from Roman’s most recent album Red Omen¸ and his previous work, Letters From High Latitudes. Roman expressed his gratitude of being able to give back through his music performance. “…Allowing me to contribute my time and artform to this evening was an incredible feeling. At the end of the night, I also donated a third of my pay to the cause…” Roman said.

What a great way to continue his work and show the world that the music industry cares!
