Love Stallion recently released their latest video in time for their favorite holiday, Valentine’s Day. “Valentine” was produced by Arcadian Pictures, the same team behind the “Big Rock Radio” video.

“It was an absolute pleasure working again with John Hunt of Arcadian Pictures,” said Love Stallion frontman, Aaron Hart. “Our favorite part was the filming the black light party body-painting flashback scene! We filmed this at my condo in Denver, where a pair of Sexy Disco Legs hang above a big white plush area rug in the great room, surrounded in black light. Our tour company, Full Color Productions brought in 16 additional lighting fixtures to help set the mood, completely washing the room in black light and lasers. We had a bunch of friends out that night, along with DJs spinning house music (one of which was John, aka Panamaa). It was a total blast! Unfortunately, for our guests and my rug, the “washable” body paint didn’t turn out to be washable, ha!”

About SammMulti Platinum R&B Singer/Songwriter, SAMMIEie
The world watched Sammie grow up from a 12-year-old sensation into a record-breaking and multi platinum-selling singer, songwriter, and performer. In 2017, Sammie showed the world that he has fully come of age with the release of his third record and first independent full-length LP, Coming of Age [Star Camp Music/EMPIRE]. This body of work confidently transitioned Sammie in evolving into the artist he’s worked towards becoming for the past 18 years. “I was blessed to have a sense of stardom and limelight at a young age,” Sammie exclaims. “I was a little boy when I first entered the hearts and heads of fans. There’s a substantial difference in the man they see before them now. I’ve matured. I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I’ve had a lot of wins. I’ve had a lot of losses, which I’ve found lessons in. I’ve never taken my foot off the gas though. There were certain detours I needed to take to get back on the right road. Today, it’s beautiful to be on this path. I’m blessed, grateful, and humbled to be here. I’ve come of age.”

2016 set the stage for his second album, in which Sammie delivered a bona fide hit with the I’m Him EP. The Shade Room touted the title track and it transformed into a viral smash with over 2.7millionSpotify streams and 1.9 million YouTube/VEVO views, between garnering praise from HipHopDX, AXS, Revolt, YouKnowIGotSoul, and more. He continued to constantly record, engaging his audience by personally previewing the writing process on Instagram. You could say his followers “executive produced” the music. He most definitely evolved over the course of these 13 new anthems.

Now, Sammie is ready to prove that Coming Of Age was just the pit-stop to his next musical journey, and is excited to shoot fire on all creative cylinders with the highly anticipated release of his fourth studio album. The project will showcase Sammie’s rich and deep soundscapes and provide the perfect platform for impressive vocal runs and timeless R&B swagger. The atmospheric nature and infectious tone will give way to clever choruses and vivid storytelling, showcasing his undeniable growth, maturity, and progression–everything Sammie has been working towards and more.

Alex Henry Foster - BRASH! Magazine Blog

It has always been with such a strong DIY spirit and ethos that Alex Henry Foster and his original band Your Favorite Enemies have built what is now more than a musical career, but a legacy on how Canadian independent artists can shine at home ahead of international arena acts.

Coming back from Tokyo, Japan, where Alex Henry Foster decided to do a world premiere of his solo album “Windows in the Sky” for two sold out nights in a row, we could not be more thankful and honored to share such unexpected news during one of the hardest weeks to release this kind of album in Canada!

“Summertime Departure” Lyric Video

With now more than 50,000 views since its release on Friday November 16, the lyric video of the song “Summertime Departures” has been all over the social medias really fast with its lyrics exposing the feelings, regrets and solitude that Foster lived following the death of his father after a long battle with cancer, as if he’s talking to him:

“Remember that it’s not your death that hurts the most
It’s the sadness that I kept growing between us”

With an album that is highly poetic and strong in images, the first single offered by the singer is one of the tracks from the album that is the most raw, and the lyric video is making it even more poignant and breathtaking for the listeners.

AHF - The Idea - BRASH! Magazine BlogTHE IDEA
As early as 2010, during a trip all over Japan, Alex had already envisioned the project of a solo album. Without even knowing, following Your Favorite Enemies’ releases, their successes and numerous touring, the project was being shaped naturally with his personal experiences lived all around the world.

AHF The Composition - BRASH! Magazine BlogTHE COMPOSITION
In 2016, Alex embarked on an exile from himself in Tangier, Morocco, where he started writing what would eventually become the album “Windows in the Sky”, on the topics of faith, grief, sorrow, solitude and hope. What was supposed to last a few weeks quickly became 2 years…

AHF The Recording - BRASH! Magazine BlogTHE RECORDING
Spring 2018, coming back from Tangier with all the other Your Favorite Enemies band members, Alex took to recording his solo album. The process took a very unique approach and has been mainly recorded on the road, while Alex was on a summer road trip on the American East Coast.
