Fire in the Visual | “Heart on Fire” Music Video by MORRISON

Electro-Rock Artist, Megan Morrison Releases Official Music Video for “Heart on Fire”

Miami-based rock/pop artist Megan Morrison (aka MORRISON) releases the music video to her incendiary new single, “Heart on Fire,” exclusively on Live In Limbo!

electro rock artist, morrison

I really wanted to portray this in the video by showing both the dark and light sides of myself. You have the fire and dark mood vs. the beautiful green landscape. In the bridge section of the song, you hear two sets of lyrics overlapping. One side reflects the heartbreak and pain and the other, freedom and rebirth. At the very end of the video, you see me smile and lift my arms to the sky in celebration of a new life. – MORRISON

Austin Sexton Drops Sexy New Visual for “In the Morning” ft. Demrick

“In The Morning” feat. Demrick is the last visual installment from Austin Sextons 2017 debut album GOODSEX. The video was filmed “Desperate Housewives” style with a comical twist. Austin and his assistant Mike arrive at a clients home less than pleased with their current situation in life, but one afternoon by the pool deliciously close to four beautiful women changes everything. Directed by C. Austin Cantu with vision from VU (Director of Austins “Oh Anna” music video) and Austin himself, this sexy new visual is more like a short film than it is a music video. The record is a beautiful blend of neo-soul and hip hop, thanks to the hard hitting bars from LA native rapper Demrick who also makes a cameo in the video.

One Time 4 The East Side of Austin, TX | “Colder” Music Video by Blacklight

Blacklight Releases A Visual Tribute to the East Side of Austin, TX

colder by blacklight, hip hop artist, rap music news, hip hop news, indie music news, legacy album by blacklight, blacklight, official music video, colder official music video
Austin, TX Hip Hop artist/producer, Blacklight presents his first official music video for his single “Colder”  feat. Victoria Zaleska. This track is leading the promotion for the debut album Legacy which is scheduled to be released early next year. “Colder” music visual serves as a tribute to the East site of Austin as it highlights the town along with the members of the community.

I wrote ‘Colder’ a few years ago as an expression of frustration.

The song seems to be relevant to those living on the East side, as gentrification silently dislodges them from their generations-long homes in the area. Throughout the visual, Blacklight is venturing through the city showcasing the beloved region of Austin, TX and their reality as he flows, connecting the dots of what’s real with his lyrics.

“Life is heavy. It’s so heavy that you start to wonder if it’s worth it to keep moving on,” says BlackLight. “The song was always about more than my own struggles, but about those of the people around me. More than anything I want the East side to know that their struggle’s not going unnoticed.”

Check out the music video for “Colder” below:

BlackLight uses his music to connect with his audience on a personal level. “I want to be an articulate voice to the problems that we face, but I also want people to know that it’s gonna be alright- it just takes a little perseverance,” he says about the song. BlackLight promises that the upcoming album will engage the audience on multiple levels. “It’s definitely gonna have conscious elements to it, but there’ll also be the club tracks, the vibe tracks, and the stuff I throw in there for fun. I’m putting a lot of different aspects of myself into this project.”

Music Video of the Week | “Seeing It All” by Calais

Music Video of the Week
Seeing It All by Calais

The visual for “Seeing It All” is a literal reflection of how easy it is for “us” instead “I” to become the norm in all of our lives. A moody, atmospheric performance video, there are bits and pieces of storytelling that come to life throughout. The scattered reflection of a couple that stands together, who can’t see one without the other, becomes a confused, disoriented picture when they’re by themselves. It’s an understated look at how each of us have the ability to lose ourselves to another.

Pop singer/songwriter, Brittney Grabill, came into the music scene after her dream of being in sports was sidelined. A guitar purchase from her grandfather opened a new door for her into the world of entertainment and self expression through song. Changing up her style into the pop music realm, Grabill found her way through music. Along with striving for pop stardom, she also makes times to give back as a humanitarian. Grabill gives hope, inspiration, and flare through her works in sharing her gift at the children’s hospital where she was treated for scoliosis. Showing young children that this condition cannot stop you from achieving goals and becoming everything you was meant to be!

B! How does your humanitarian work inspires you as a musician?
BG: Very much so. I love writing and giving a new perspective on a topic that may open someone’s mind. We have a commonality as human beings that none of us have all the answers, we are all trying to figure it out!
